Bolgheri is an ancient village built around a medieval castle on a rise. It is reachable by the striking and enchanting “Viale dei Cipressi”, a road nearly 4 kilometres long surrounded by immense cypresses. This little town has been made famous by Giosué Carducci’s lines in the poem “Davanti a San Guido”.
The sunny, dry and ventilated microclimate and the particular ground favour the vineyards in particular.
